This spell comes from my series of "Eternal Charm Candles." The candle for this spell is white, comes wrapped in with the spell below and an quartz pendant. In order to perform this spell you will need: any white candle, a pen, paper, and piece of quartz. Votive candles work well and are very inexpensive. It can be scented if you like, for a list of corresponding scents see the incense correspondence chart. Quartz is said to have the ability to bring the energies of the stars into the soul. It is used to harmonize and align thoughts and emotions with the energies of the universe and to make these greater energies available to us. Quartz is an excellent assistant in the creation of power and can provide for clarity in thinking when important decisions need to be made.
Begin by finding a quiet, undisturbed area. Get a pen and paper. Light the candle and make sure the pendant is close to it. Focus on the flame and breath deeply. Push your worries out of your mind. Pick up the pendant and hold it in your hands. Know that it has the power to help you think clearly. Carefully pass the pendant over the flame (don’t touch the pendant to the flame) three times. Each time image the crystal becoming ‘clean’ of all energies that are not supposed to be there. Take the cleansed pendant and hold it in your hands. You should now feel that stone much stronger. Allow it to fill you with its energies. Now relax and let yourself go. Focus on the problem at hand. Set the pendant at the top of your paper. Divide the paper into two sections: Pros and Cons. List out every pro and con surrounding the decision, don’t leave anything out. When you are through, take the crystal in your hands again and focus on the problem. Visualize yourself doing whatever it is that the decision involves. Visualize everything you think might happen. Feel the crystal lending its energies so that you have clarity in your vision. Then visualize yourself making the opposite decision about the problem. Visualize everything you think might happen in that situation as well. When you are through, take three deep breaths, stop thinking about the problem and extinguish the candle. Fold up the paper and place it with the crystal under your pillow that night. When you wake up, you should feel confident enough to make your decision.
