In order to perform this spell you will need: any yellow candle and piece of citrine. Votive candles work well and are very inexpensive. Citrine is a stone that helps promote psychic awareness. It is also good for people who suffer from nightmares as it provides an emotional balance and protection from negativity.
Begin by finding a quiet, undisturbed area. Light the candle and make sure the pendant is close to it. Focus on the flame and breath deeply. Push your worries out of your mind. Pick up the pendant and hold it in your hands. Know what it is and what power it has. Carefully pass the pendant over the flame (don’t touch the pendant to the flame) three times. Each time image the crystal becoming ‘clean’ of all energies that are not supposed to be there. Take the cleansed pendant and hold it in your hands. You should now feel that stone much stronger now. Allow it to fill you with its energies. Now relax and let yourself go. Feel your awareness expanding and allow yourself to see beyond your normal existence. Feel your mind reaching out into the universe and becoming aware of the greater patterns of life. See the energy of the stone building a barrier between you and the negativity that prevents you from expanding your awareness.
