Saraknyal

Other Names / Variants: Sarakuyal

Saraknyal - One of the 200 angels under the leadership of Semyaza who descended to earth to cohabit with the daughters of men, an incident touched on in Genesis 6.  The American poet Mark Van Doren mentions Saraknyal in his poem "The Prophet Enoch."  The variant form Sarakuyal is provided by Levi, The History of Magic, when listing the leaders of the 200 apostates.  (a)
