Salmael

Salmael  - A prince of one of the angelic orders.  Salmael used to accuse Israel on Yom Kippur, calling for the annihilation of the Jews (forerunner of a genocide like Hitler?).  Salmael is equated with Samael and Azazel.  He has also been identified as Jacob's dark antagonist at Peniel, as have other angels.  [Rf.
