The Electors |

Electors - In Conybeare, The Testament of Solomon, there are 7 planetary spirits or angels of Hell, the notion deriving from the maskim of the Akkadians. The 7 are: Barbiel (under the rule of Zaphiel), Mephistophiel (under Zadkiel), Ganael (under Apadiel and Camael), Aciel (under Raphael), Anael (under Haniel), Ariel (under Michael), Marbuel (under Gabriel). In the Magia Naturalis et Innaturalis, the electors are fiends (not angels), and their names are given as: Dirachiel, Amnodiel, Adriel, Amudiel, Tagriel, Annixiel, Geliel, Eequiel. Agrippa's list of the 7 electors, which more or less agrees with the list in The Testament of Solomon, has Bludon and Apadiel in place of Anael and Ganael. (a) |
